Marshall Direct Fund is proud to announce that despite the global recession, worldwide supporters who believe in the value of education and economic opportunities for all, rallied to give the children of Sheikhupura, Pakistan, a new school to call their own. The good community elders, teachers, and families of Sheikhupura along with our ground team worked hard together to see to it that deserving children were able to attend a school they could call their own. The new school opened in November 2009 and is filled with smiling children who are enjoying their education as well as nutritious lunches which help keep their bodies and minds strong. The children are inspired by their gifted teachers on a daily basis to dream big and do their best work to help build a brighter future.
