Barakahu School

Primary school in Barakahu, an urban slum of Islamabad

The students and teachers of Barakahu Primary School found a new building space last year. The new building provides much needed extra space for the whole school to continue on the path of learning and knowledge. It is our goal to equip the school with an after-hours program dedicated to vocational training and technical education to adults in the community as a means to generate income for its graduates thus lifting families out of poverty and helping the school develop its self-sustainability. Our supporters have given the gift of education to students in this primary school.
